The official Launch of the International Education fund was hosted by Baroness Warsi of Dewsbury at the House of Lords. The event featured an inspiring speech from our chairman, Adeel Iqbal, as well as speeches from Executive Board member Professor Geoffrey P Garnett, the Rector of Imperial College Sir Roy Anderson, the Education Attaché from High Commision of Pakistan Mr. Talha Saeed and Entrepreneur Barrister Abid Hussain. We wish to extend our gratitude to each of the speakers as well as everyone who attended this event. This event was a real team effort and our strong committee worked together to ensure that the event went well. We feel that such a positive start can only speed us on our way to spreading the benefits of academic expertise to the places that are most in need of such help. |
